An order changed.

The useful next question is: what changed?

Sales Order Audit Tracking Is Optional

Sage 100 2025.0 added audit tracking for Sales Orders and Purchase Orders.

When enabled, Sage says details of changes, deletions, and additions can be retained and reviewed through the Audit Viewer and Sales Order Audit Report.

Why That Matters

Pricing changed. A quantity changed. A line disappeared. A ship-to changed. Somebody added something.

Without useful history, the investigation can become a conversation about memory.

Audit Data Does Not Replace Good Process

It does not tell you whether the change was wise.

It tells you more about what happened.

That is enormously useful when troubleshooting an order whose current state no longer matches what people remember entering.
